Sunday Night Football on NBC bounced back in a big way thanks to the anticipated matchup between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts to be the number one program in Orlando last week.
The Patriots-Colts game was the most watched television program on Sunday and of the week in Orlando with 285,356 viewers. It is the most viewed football game in Orlando since Week 1’s Sunday Night Football game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys. The Giants-Cowboys game is currently the number one watched sporting event of the fall, garnering 286,485 viewers.
Last week, Sunday Night Football for the first time this fall was not the number one program in Orlando losing last Sunday to the season premiere of AMC’s Walking Dead and CBS’ 60 Minutes. This Sunday not only did the Patriots-Colts game beat The Walking Dead and 60 Minutes, but the game between the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers on CBS also had more viewers finishing as the second most watched program on Sunday with 222,698 viewers.
