The Orlando Magic’s loss to the Toronto Raptors on Thursday garnered 77,000 viewers nationally on NBATV. The game was played in London, England, as part of the NBA’s Global Games initiative.
The 77,000 viewers were the second most-watched program on NBATV on Thursday behind only the 7:30 p.m. edition of NBA Gametime, which garnered 91,000 viewers. Keep in mind the Magic-Raptors game coverage started at 3 p.m. and does not include numbers in the Orlando market as the game was blacked out on NBA TV due the game airing on the local affiliate, Fox Sports Florida.
The Raptors-Magic game had about 25,000-30,000 more viewers then what NBATV normally gets in the 3-6 p.m. block daily.
FOX Sports Florida does not release its daily ratings numbers.
