In a year that has already seen the Orlando Magic bring in the best television ratings since Dwight Howard left, they topped themselves again.
Wednesday night’s dramatic 101-99 Orlando Magic win over the Los Angeles Lakers was the most watched Orlando Magic game of the season according to Fox Sports Magic twitter account.

The game peaked at 2.4 rating during the final minute of the game which concluded with the game-winning buzzer-beating shot by Nikola Vucevic.
It is an impressive TV rating considering the game was without Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant who helps brings casual NBA viewers to watch. Clearly the tight exciting finishes to the Magic games so far this season have helped bring back viewers in Orlando this season.
The Magic win over the Lakers was the most watched sporting event in Orlando on Wednesday night.
It is the highest Magic rated game on Fox Sports Florida since Feb. 25 when the Magic lost to the Miami Heat 93-90 in overtime at the Amway Center.

The high ratings continues the positive trend this season for the Magic and Fox Sports Florida.
The Magic’s opening night loss to Washington Wizards was the highest rated Magic season opening game on Fox Sports Florida since 2010. The Magic’s first win of the season at New Orleans garnered similar numbers to opening night. Three of the four highest rated Magic games on Fox Sports Florida in the last two seasons have occurred in the current season.
